ANKARA, 24 OCT – Türkiye has experienced a shocking terrorist attack aimed at its vital defense technology infrastructure, leading to multiple casualties.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya confirmed that in the course of the assault, two terrorists were neutralized.
“Unfortunately, four individuals have lost their lives, while 14 more have sustained injuries, three of whom are in critical condition,” Yerlikaya stated in Turkish media.
The attack struck at the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) facility in Kahramankazan, Ankara.
TUSAS plays a crucial role in Türkiye’s defense and aerospace sectors, famously developing the ANKA unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). ANKA is poised to enhance the capabilities of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF). – airtimes.my
